We organise Open Days at research institutes and also Factory Visits in order to arouse interest in science, research, engineering and innovation.
The Researchers’ Night event is held once a year at Óbuda University to promote the career model of engineers and researchers, but pre-eminently the STEM related activities. At the events young visitors have the opportunity to view the achievements of the university research centre, they can try out prototypes and visit the presentations of some leading national and international companies.
More and more companies organize company open days where young visitors can get an inside view of the technical peculiarities of the company and the applied technics and technologies.
The planned programmes of some Company Open Days and Factory Visits:
During the Factory Visits organised at the research centre of Bosch Hungary Ltd. in Budapest students can view the complex system of vehicle development and the information technology of the self-parking, self-driving cars.
During the visits organised at the Budapest centre of Morgan Stanley Ltd. young visitors can get acquainted with IT banking systems, computer networks and other high-tech technologies.
The consortium organise factory visits more times at the members of the MÁV [Hungarian State Railways] Group. Here the visitors have the opportunity to meet the mechanical -, electrical engineering and IT activities and challenges of the rail transport.
